SUDEP Action Coffee Club Meetings

The Coffee Club meetings are now underway! They are a chance for supporters to meet, share their experiences and discuss all things SUDEP Action. We have meetings being organised by our fantastic Coffee Club Group Leaders around the UK and have had two successful meetings in Guildford and West Wales so far, with more in the pipeline. Feedback has been really positive of the meetings so far:

“Today has been lovely – a good opportunity to chat to people who understand what we have gone through.”

“The most helpful thing is the shared experiences, and the provision of a safe environment in which to talk openly.”



“As a bereaved parent, I often feel very alone – I can’t talk openly to many people without them feeling awkward or shutting down the conversation. Having these meetings in my local area is very helpful; it helps me to feel less isolated.”

There are two meetings already arranged for September in Lancashire and Leicester, with others in various regions around the UK for the rest of the year.
