The Site is owned and operated by SUDEP Action, registered charity 1164250 (England & Wales), SC047223 (Scotland).
Epilepsy Bereaved (founded 1995) is part of SUDEP Action.

Anyone is entitled to view any non-password protected parts of the Site and to use for their own purposes the information contained therein, provided:

a)    It is used for information purposes only for reproduction for personal use only and not for reproduction on any other website or for commercial gain.

While SUDEP Action makes all reasonable attempts to exclude viruses from the website it cannot ensure such exclusion and no liability is accepted for damage caused through the downloading of viruses. Therefore, you are recommended to take all appropriate safeguards before downloading information from the Site.

On-line Transactions

SUDEP Action reserves the right to vary event registration fees and the prices of any goods or services listed without notice. If said varied fees or prices are higher than stated, we will, at our discretion, either contact the User for instructions or cancel and notify the User of such cancellation. All event registrations and orders for goods or services are subject to availability and SUDEP Action reserves the right to refuse to accept any registration and to refuse to supply any goods or services to any individual.  All prices are inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.


Although the website uses encryption security software in areas where on line payment details are accepted, the security of information and payments transmitted via the Internet cannot be guaranteed. Any loss incurred or sustained by any User who transmits information by means of email or other Internet links shall be borne solely and exclusively by such User and in no event shall any such loss in whole or part be borne by SUDEP Action or its agents.

Force majeure

SUDEP Action shall not be held to be in breach of its obligations hereunder nor liable to the User for any loss or damage which may be suffered by another party due to any cause beyond its reasonable control including without limitation any act of God, fire, storm, flood, lightening, disease, strike, trade dispute, act of terrorism, any act or omission of government or regulatory bodies or communications operators.


If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid, void or unenforceable, that provision will be deemed severable and the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.  These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between SUDEP Action and the User and supercede all other (prior or contemporaneous) communications and proposals, whether electronic or written, between the User and SUDEP Action.

Any failure of SUDEP Action to exercise or enforce any of its rights under these terms and conditions shall not be deemed to be a waiver of any such rights or operate so as to bar the subsequent exercise or enforcement or any such rights.


The terms and conditions and the use by the User of the website shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties hereto submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in all disputes arising out of or relating to the website and/or any transactions made on the website, or these terms and conditions.
