James (Al) Allaway, Ben Wood and Kevin Price-Ward (pictured left) started the epic jouney from their office base in Warwickshire studios on Thursday 17th September in their £100 1995 Volvo 460, customised to feature the logos of CaB clients including Goodwood, Exclusive Hotels, MedicX Group and Bluearrow.

After arriving in Calais, the three-man team travelled to Rome in just four days, covering 1,500miles and taking in at least three countries as well as some of the narrowest and highest passes that the Alps had to offer. First run in 2003,  Staples2Naples has grown to become a celebration of cars that have seen far better days and some of the best driving roads in Europe.

 Creative director Ben Wood said:

“The CaB team loves a challenge, and the epic Staples2Naples has given us the opportunity to raise money for a great cause as well as achievea real goal in a very different environment to the studio. Kevin, Al and I dressed as Top Gear’s Stig for the duration of the rally, and whilst we looked  the part, I’m not sure that the driving was of a similarly high standard! The car itself is a celebration of cool, prestigious brands, each of which has achieved the impact and recognition that we aim to attain for our clients.”

“Epilepsy Bereaved is a small charity which is very close to our hearts, and the team have hopefully raised awareness of the important work they do as well as funds. We would all like to thank everyone who has sponsored us so far, and encourage anyone else to support this vital organisation.”

So far , the team have raised over £2,000 for Epilepsy Bereaved, well over their original target of £1,500.
