Supporter Events

We are very luck at Epilepsy Bereaved to have fantastic, active  supporters who run, walk, kayak, swim, bike and trek to raise funds for our vital work.

Our thanks and best wishes to them and all of you who pledge your support.

Below are some up and coming events being run by our supporters. If you want to be included on this page, then either contact Sally Gomersall - sally.gomersall@epilepsybereaved.org.uk or Louise Cooper – louise.cooper@epilepsybereaved.org.uk

Hyde Park Run for Danny

Hazel Burns  will be running to commemorate her son Danny’s life and raise funds for Epilepsy Bereaved by taking part in the 2010 Adidas Women’s Challenge in Hyde Park on Sunday 5th September. She won’t be alone though as twelve friends will be running with her.  They are: Ellen Driscoll, Barbara Keanan, Lyn Moxey, Lauren Elson, Debbie Hedges, Janice Mara, Lorraine Brown, Elaine Jury, Sally Boyd, Marian Dalton, Christine Heath & Olwyn Evans.

Hazel said “The reason I continue to support Epilepy Bereaved is to keep Danny’s memory alive. The charity is very close to my heart. Epilepsy Bereaved is also the only charity dedicated to research and prevention of Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP) and other epilepsy deaths”.
