These guidelines, based on a round table discussion held in
London in December 2003 and sponsored by Sanofi-Synthelabo, have
been written to help the non-specialist address the specific needs
of women with epilepsy presenting in the course of their normal
work, and are intended to help in determining those who need referral
to an appropriate specialist – they are not meant as a definitive
guide for the treatment of women with epilepsy. |
