Epilepsy Bereaved runs two weekend
events each year thanks to the support of the management and staff at Dunchurch Hotel in Rugby. The hotel provides a
relaxed setting where people can meet and take part in a
programme involving the latest research on SUDEP; campaigns expert
speakers and campaigning opportunities for people to become active in our work.
The programme begins at 11 am on the Saturday with a
dinner in the evening and people stay on until the Sunday if they want to get
active in any aspect of the charity’s work. Everyone is welcome (although we do
not have a crèche) and you can dip in and out of the weekend as you like.
We also organise a
memorial service at St James’s, Piccadilly, once every three years in London.
Please contact
andrea@epilepsybereaved.org.uk if you wish to attend any of the weekend
events or the memorial service.
We also organise a
series of shorter and more informal regional meetings each year where people can
meet to chat and also discuss the work of the charity with staff, trustees and
active members. Please contact
sally.gomersall@ntlworld.com
if you wish to attend any of the regional events.
